Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using LinkZip.uk URL shortening platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you must refrain from using the platform.
2. Acceptable Use (Restrictions)
We strive to maintain a safe and highly reputable redirection platform. It is strictly prohibited to use LinkZip to shorten or distribute URLs that contain or lead to:
- Malware, viruses, trojans, phishing pages, or any harmful scripts.
- Illegal content, unsolicited bulk spam, illegal gambling, or unauthorized regulated substances.
- Abusive, harassing, defamatory content, or child exploitation materials.
We reserve the right to scan shortened links automatically using verification tools (including the Google Safe Browsing API) and immediately delete any link or account that violates these terms without prior notice.
3. Accounts and Pro Subscriptions
We offer a free plan with standard countdown redirects and a premium Pro monthly subscription. The Pro account conditions include:
- Automatic Redirection Status Syncing: When upgrading to Pro, all your existing and future links will automatically become instant direct redirects (301/302), bypassing the countdown page entirely.
- Downgrade to Free: If you cancel or suspend your Pro subscription, your links will automatically fall back to the standard countdown transition page.
- Pro Features Access: Premium options (such as custom link titles, grid sorting, custom slugs, and editing target destination URLs) are exclusive to accounts with an active subscription.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". LinkZip does not warrant that access will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any loss of traffic, technical errors, reputation issues, or consequences arising from redirects to third-party websites configured by our users.
5. Modifications of Terms
LinkZip reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by publishing the updates here. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
